St. Joseph's Teacher Training Institute, attached, to St. Joseph's Training College  was established in 2005 as a Christian minority institution to train  teachers for elementary schools.  St. Joseph's TTI is owned by St. Joseph's Monastery, of Carmelities of Mary Immaculate (CMI) Religious Congregation, St. Joseph's Province, Thiruvananthapuram and is an integral part of the vast network of CMI Educational Institution.
